Jamming

Like a lot of other things, jamming is more fun when you don’t do it alone. But not everyone has a full band to jam with at their disposal. So, we’ve created a tool to let you have just that. GuitarPort is unique because it gives you professionally produced songs – which can be played with and without guitar parts - accurate tabs, and totally dialed-in guitar tones that match the recording. When you connect your guitar to your computer through a Line 6 device, the guitar tone is automatically loaded and your guitar is mixed with the recording, so it sounds like you are playing along with the band. Until you’ve tried it, you can’t believe how awesome it feels – and how good you can sound.

It’s so easy. Just pick the song you want and select the track– with or without guitar parts – and the tab automatically loads on the screen with appropriate tones – we offer a single coil or humbucker version depending on what guitar you are playing.

Then play the song, follow along with the tab and you’ll hear your guitar, with the perfect matching tone, mixed in with the recording. Also, you can stop, pause, loop or slow down any song through the on-screen controls, providing the best tools for learning.
