"Pump It Up" was recorded for Elvis Costello's second LP, "This Years Model". Recorded in the late 70's, Elvis was part of the punk and new wave movement of British rock. Along with his newly formed band, The Attractions, a Jazzmaster, and a new record label, Elvis set about rocking America and produced one of his most popular songs, "Pump It Up".
